Jon Moxley still not cleared to compete following concussion

Jon Moxley remains on the sidelines and was not medically cleared to be part of last night’s Dynamite.

AEW President Tony Khan announced in a post on X that doctors were unable to medically clear him for the show, but Fenix was cleared in time to defend the AEW International title which he won from Moxley last week.

Mox was spiked on his head during the match and received a concussion. The referee did not pick up Moxley’s audible and stopped the count at two even though he did not lift his shoulder. That prompted Fenix to hit a second Black Fire Driver for the pin.

It’s unclear if Moxley will be part of the WrestleDream pay-per-view this weekend.
