Slim Jim back as sponsor for Royal Rumble after McMahon’s departure

Slim Jim, which last night decided to pause all WWE advertising due to the horrific accusations against Vince McMahon, has made a U turn following the departure of McMahon as Chairman of TKO Group Holdings.

In a statement sent to the wrestling press, a Slim Jim spokesman said, “After the departure of Vince McMahon, and discussions with WWE TKO senior leadership, Slim Jim has decided to re-enter the Royal Rumble.”

The company yesterday said it values integrity and respect in all of their partnerships and given the recent disturbing allegations against Vince McMahon, they have decided to pause their promotional activities with WWE.

“This decision reflects our commitment to our brand values and responsibility to our community. We will continue to monitor the situation and base our future engagements on our values and what’s best for our brand,” read yesterday’s statement.

WWE and Slim Jim announced this past August that they completed their largest sponsorship deal in WWE history.
