CM Punk backstage at Smackdown following triceps surgery

CM Punk was backstage at Smackdown last night in Birmingham, Alabama, a day after he underwent triceps surgery at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center, conveniently also located in Birmingham.

Punk was backstage throughout the whole show and had his arm in a sling. The former WWE and AEW champion is expected to be out of action for the majority of 2024.

The injury he sustained at the Royal Rumble has reportedly altered the course of WrestleMania, with a big shakeup in the main events.
