John Cena continues teasing WrestleMania 40 appearance

John Cena has been teasing an appearance at WrestleMania 40 although he’s not letting the cat out of the bag yet.

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night, the 16-time world champion teased a face off with The Rock after Fallon pulled a print from his latest IG post which simply had He-man in a face-to-face situation with Fisto.

Fallon ask Cena if he can confirm it.

“People are talking. WrestleMania 40. They’re speculating that The Rock and I will be in the ring in Philadelphia for WrestleMania 40, they’re going to keep talking until it happens…we don’t know yet,” Cena said.

Cena then asked Fallon if he wants to make a promise he can’t keep or write a check that he can’t cash.

“Is that what we’re doing here? Is that what type of outfit you’re running?” Cena questioned Fallon.

But Cena did confirm that he is free on April 6.

“I mean, I’m free that day,” Cena said. “I’m just saying. I’m just saying to you guys out there.”

Cena also toyed around with the idea of appearing at WrestleMania 40 when he appeared on ESPN’s First Take yesterday morning.
