Monday Night Raw TV report for 03/11/2024

Arena: Toyota Center
City: Houston, TX

Drew McIntrye is out first for an in-ring promo. Drew talks about everyone from CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, The Rock, and Seth Rollins. Seth Rollins comes out and tells Drew to shut up. Seth tells him he has been thinking about that Claymore last week and he asked for another one right now and even takes his glasses off and gets on his knees. Seth then says I forgot you were a coward and turns his back on Drew.

Drew said before this gets any weirder, you were right. Seth then accuses Drew of wanting to be an honorary member of the Bloodline after all the complaining about the Bloodline that he has done.

Drew said he knows Seth is trying to provoke him, but it is not going to happen because he needs to beat him at WrestleMania. Seth then tells Drew he is the last of the things he is worried about.

Becky Lynch VS. Liv Morgan

Becky catches Liv coming off the ropes with a manhandle slam to get the win.

Winner: Becky Lynch

After the match Rhea Ripley comes out and as she walks past Liv. Liv yells at her that she took everything from her, and she (Liv) will take everything from her. Rhea shows no reaction as she continues to the ring to face Becky and Rhea tells Becky congratulations. Rhea tells Becky she is looking for an excuse when she loses to her at WrestleMania by taking all these matches to show she is still the best. She warns Becky that if she enters WrestleMania less than 100%, she will lose.

Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce made an announcement for WrestleMania about tag team division where the Judgment Day will defend the tag titles against five teams in a six-pack ladder match.

The Judgment Day was shown and were not very happy about the announcement and left to find Aldis & Pearce.

Ivy Nile & Maxxine Dupri VS. Indi Hartwell & Candace LeRae

Candace yelled at Maxxine and really put her down and Maxxine walked right into a kick by Indi and Candace knocked Ivy off the apron as Indi pinned Maxxine.

Winners: Indi Hartwell & Candace LeRae

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is shown getting off his bus.

The Judgment Day met up with Aldis & Pearce and were unhappy with the decision and R-Truth walks in and he was supposed to be doing media with the Miz.

Michael Cole is in the ring and shows a video of The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins segment from Smackdown. Cole then introduces Cody Rhodes to come to the ring where there are two chairs set up in the middle. Cody gets emotional talking about the story of his fans and his family. Cody then tells Cole that Cole will get to say at WrestleMania that Cody finished his story and for the first time ever a Rhodes is the new Undisputed WWE Universal champion.

Ricochet talks about his return in a gauntlet match tonight for the chance to face Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship.

JD McDonagh then talks about his shot in the gauntlet match.

In the locker room, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan met up and shake hands when Nia Jax came in and attacked both, knocking Liv over equipment cases and putting Becky through a table.

Kabuki Warriors VS. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Sane hits the insane elbow on Shayna after Dakota Kai pulled Shayna’s leg while she had Sane locked in the Kurobuta Clutch.

Winners and Still WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Kabuki Warriors

The Judgment Day in the locker room talking and Andrade walks in and Priest asked if they could help him. Rhea said she told him to stop by. Rhea told Andrade Dom is not here tonight but when he gets back, they can talk business. Finn said he agrees with Dom that Andrade brings a lot to the table.

R-Truth VS. Damian Priest

Priest gets in the ring and immediately elbows Truth in the head. DIY come out to support Truth. As Truth has Priest locked in the STF, Balor and JD come out and attack DIY. Truth lets go of Priest and takes out everyone outside the ring. Truth gets back in the ring and gets hit with a clothesline and a South of Heaven chokeslam.

Winner: Damian Priest

After the match the Judgment Day leave DIY and Truth lying in the ring.

Becky is shown and says she shouldn’t be doing this this close to WrestleMania but challenged Nia Jax to a last woman standing match for next week.

Main Event Jey Uso is next to the ring. Jey challenges Jimmy for WrestleMania.

A video package of Gunther’s Intercontinental Title reign is shown.

Jackie Redmond then interviewed Gunther. Gunther wishes good luck to whomever wins the gauntlet match tonight.

Gauntlet match for the chance at the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania

Ricochet VS. JD McDonagh

After fighting on the ropes and knocking JD down, Ricochet hit the shooting star press.

Winner: Ricochet

Ricochet VS. Big Bronson Reed

Reed hits Ricochet with the Tsunami.

Winner: Big Bronson Reed

Big Bronson Reed VS. Sami Zayn

Zayn was on the top rope and Reed went to the second rope and picked him up, but Zayn wiggled free and hit a powerbomb and pinned Reed.

Winner: Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn VS. Shinsuke Nakamura

Reed hits Sami with a Tsunami before leaving the ring as Nakamura takes his time getting to the ring. Zayn was able to recover and hit Nakamura with a Helluva Kick and fell on Nakamura for the pin.

Winner: Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn VS. Chad Gable

Gable gets in the ring and tells Zayn to get up because he is not taking it like this then picked Sami up and gave Zayn a few minutes to compose himself.

Gable held the ankle lock on Sami until Sami was on the verge of tapping out and then went for a moonsault, but Sami moved, and Sami was able to hit a Helluva Kick, but Gable rolled Sami up for only a two count.

Gable hooked in the ankle lock again, but Sami was able to roll him over and held Gable down for the pin.

Winner of the gauntlet match and going to WrestleMania to challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship: Sami Zayn.

After the match Gable picked Zayn up and Zayn hugged Gable and said something to him in his ear.

Gunther then came to the ring as the show ended.
