The Rock off to film two movies before WWE return later this year

The Rock is riding off to the sunset for a few months as he is set to film a couple of movies before he returns to WWE.

Last night on Raw, The Rock said that he’s going away for a little bit, something which was met with cheers and “goodbye” singing from the rowdy Philadelphia crowd, but when he comes back, he will be going straight after Cody Rhodes.

Johnson is off to film the Mark Kerr-based movie titled The Smashing Machine and then Moana, two projects which will occupy several months to complete.

His appearance as The Final Boss on Raw last night was the climax of his three-month whirlwind return to the company, ironically ending with fans chanting “Shut the f*ck up” and giving him the “What?” treatment.

The Rock didn’t leave them with nothing though, saying that Philadelphia broke the record of the biggest gathering of trailer park trash.

“So yeah, chant it now, chant the ‘shut the f*ck up now’ you pieces of trash,” The Rock said as the crowd exploded.
