Bobby Lashley pulled from King of the Ring tournament

The King of the Ring tournament needed another change as Bobby Lashley, who was suppose to take on Tama Tonga tonight in a first round match, is injured and unable to compete.

Smackdown GM Nick Aldis made the announcement on social media, writing that he was informed that Lashley suffered an injury during training and is not cleared.

“So unfortunate news for Bobby Lashley but a fortunate opportunity for the man taking his place,” Aldis said. “And that man, I have decided, will be Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits.”

Drew McIntyre and Asuka were pulled from their respective tournaments on Monday also due to injuries and were replaced by Jey Uso and Dakota Kai.
