Fans in France “activated” the fireflies for Jey Uso at Backlash and that trend continued for his entrance since then, but now, Uso is happy to give the fireflies “back” to the Wyatt Sick6!
“I mean I want no smoke with them, for all I care they can have the fireflies back,” Uso told Catherine Kelly backstage in a post-show interview.
Jey said that he’s happy they brought back the fireflies for him but it’s a different story now.
“His family is here now…that means, I gotta go,” Uso told Kelly before yeeting out!
In May, Jey revealed that Bray Wyatt’s fiancee JoJo Offerman sent him a text message after he came out for his Backlash match to tell him how emotional it was watching him come out with all the fireflies in the stands.
“I hope it sticks with me. I never asked for it. They did it and I just wanna keep it with me now,” he said at the time.
