Owen Hart Cup tournament kicks off on Dynamite tonight

Dynamite will start with no commercials for the first match tonight, a match which will feature MJF taking on Rush. This is MJF’s first match since his Worlds End loss to Samoa Joe in December 2023.

The Owen Hart Cup tournament kicks off on Dynamite as well with PAC vs Claudio Castagnoli and Nyla Rose vs Kris Statlander in the first two matches. An AEW Tag Team title eliminator match will also pit The Young Bucks vs The Acclaimed an eight-man tag team match is on the card with Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy and Dante Martin vs Kyle Fletcher, Roderick Strong, Konosuke Takeshita and Zack Sabre Jr.

Plus, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa will have their contract signing for the AEW Women’s title at Forbidden Door and AEW champion Swerve Strickland and his challenger Will Ospreay come face-to-face.

With no NBA to go against them, AEW will be looking at a rebound in the viewership after last week’s low.
