Three more WWE Superstars qualify for the the 2024 MITB ladder matches

Three more WWE Superstars – two men and one woman – qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match after winning their respective qualifying matches on Smackdown last night.

Chelsea Green was the first one to qualify, beating Michin and Bianca Belair in a surprise result. Green stole the pin after Bianca hit the KOD in Michin and the crowd absolutely loved it.

Former NXT champion Carmelo Hayes also overcame the odds and beat Randy Orton and Tama Tonga. Hayes did not even get a televised introduction but after a Tonga Loa distraction, Hayes rolled up Orton for the decisive pinfall.

Andrade also punched his ticket to Toronto when he beat Grayson Waller and Kevin Owens in the last triple threat qualifier. It looked all bleak for Andrade when he got hit with the Stunner, but Waller broke the pin, kicked Owens’ knee, and then Andrade caught him when Waller went for his finisher to get the victory.

The qualifying matches continue on Monday with Braun Strowman vs Bronson Reed vs Chad Gable, who has been re-added to the match after he was taken out by the Wyatt Sick6, and Lyra Valkyria vs Shayna Baszler vs Kairi Sane.

Friday’s Smackdown will have Logan Paul vs LA Knight vs Santos Escobar in another qualifier and two women matches with Tiffany Stratton vs Jade Cargill vs Candice LeRae and Naomi vs Blair Davenport vs Indi Hartwell.
