The last time is now: John Cena announces WWE farewell tour

John Cena made a surprise appearance at the Money In The Bank premium live event in Toronto to announce that his WWE career is coming to an end and he is embarking on a farewell tour.

Cena thanked the fans in Canada for always showing up no matter if WWE was “hot” or “cold” and it was the perfect place to make his announcement.

The 16-time world champion said that when WWE Raw moves to Netflix, he will be there to make history, but the 2025 Royal Rumble will be his last one, the 2025 Elimination Chamber will be his last one, and WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas will be the end.

Cena also promised to be the first one out at the press conference after MITB and would answer all questions regarding his retirement.

He has hinted multiple times in several interviews that he would like to wrap up his in-ring career before he turns 50.
