MJF to defend AEW International title in CMLL on August 2

New AEW International champion MJF will be making his CMLL debut next month when he defends his title on August 2.

MJF made the announcement via a video that was played yesterday in the arena. He was shown sitting in a tub with the title by his side, saying that as the new AEW International champion, he was going to help the world and take his title challenges internationally, starting with those “masked morons” in Mexico.

The 28-year-old won the AEW International title this past Wednesday on Dynamite in a one-hour match against Will Ospreay, pinning the Brit with two seconds remaining on the clock.
