Bash In Berlin main event match announced

The Bash In Berlin main event was made last night on Raw and will feature Gunther defending his WWE World Heavyweight title against Randy Orton.

Orton is from Smackdown but appeared on the show last night to challenge the champion, reminding him that the King of the Ring final win Gunther has over him comes with an asterisk as his shoulders were not down on the mat despite the referee counting to three.

The Viper said he respected the referee’s decision but he still wanted another shot at Gunther and the newly-crowned champion accepted the challenge.

Gunther got the title shot at SummerSlam because he won the King of the Ring tournament in Saudi Arabia.

Gunther vs Orton is so far the only match announced for Bash In Berlin which takes place on Saturday, August 31 in Germany.
