Raw to air from Saudi Arabia in November as part of Crown Jewel weekend

A press release issued by the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority chief Turki Alalshikh revealed that Raw will take place in Riyadh later this year when the company goes over for the yearly Crown Jewel show.

The Crown Jewel premium live event will take place on Saturday, November 2 and the press release says that the events will be back-to-back, meaning that Raw on November 4 will be a taped episode which will be recorded the day before.

“The WWE Crown Jewel & Raw show, set to take place over two consecutive days, this event will be one of the global events hosted by Riyadh Season this year, carrying on its annual tradition featuring a stronger lineup of wrestlers within the most powerful, comprehensive, and diverse entertainment season in the world,” the press release states.

WWE already held Smackdown before the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event in May and the company often tapes Smackdown when they go for overseas PLEs, but Raw is always held in North America.

Alalshikh announced that Riyadh Season 2024 will host 11 world championships and 10 exhibitions and festivals.
