Rob Van Dam, Francine, Nunzio, and Bubba Ray Dudley coming to NXT at ECW Arena

ECW legends Rob Van Dam, Bubba Ray Dudley, Francine, and Nunzio will all be appearing next week on NXT from the 2300 Arena, formerly known as the ECW Arena, in an episode which will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite on the day after the United States presidential election.

RVD showed up in a backstage segment with NXT General Manager Ava and told her he wants to be part of the show next week. Ava assured Van Dam that she will come up with something for him and later in the closing moments of the show, RVD appeared again when Wes Lee and Je’Von Evans were brawling backstage, saying that he has a great idea for next week.

The Queen of Extreme herself, Francine, announced via a video on social media that she will be in Philadelphia as well for NXT. “On Wednesday, November 6, I am coming home to the place where it all started for me, the ECW Arena,” Francine said in the video. “Philly, NXT get ready because we are going to take you to the extreme!”

Another ECW original, Nunzio is apparently on the way to Philly too after NXT North American champion Tony D’Angelo had a phone voice mail in a heavy Italian accent, saying that it was blatant disrespect that he had to hear secondhand about NXT coming to Philly. He told the champ to bring the title too and then Vic Joseph and Booker T wondered if that was Nunzio making the call.

And Bubba Ray Dudley will be wrestling on the show, teaming up with NXT champion Trick Williams to take on Ridge Holland and Ethan Page. Dudley initially shot down the idea, saying that he did not want to steal a spot from someone else but later agreed to the match.
