Brody King and Buddy Matthews file trademark applications for new names

With Malakai Black’s departure from AEW, the House of Black is also seemingly dead for obvious reasons, but Black’s two former tag team partners, Brody King and Buddy Matthews, are already thinking ahead.

King last week trademarked two names with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, filing applications for Hounds of Hell and Cerberus.

Meanwhile, Matthews also trademarked the name Hell Hounds, suggesting that a combo of the two names will be used in the future on AEW television as they get away from the House of Black branding.

Black is rumored to become a free agent in around six to eight weeks after spending the last three and a half years working with AEW. A WWE return is certainly not out of the question.
