Britt Baker still has a future with AEW says Chris Jericho

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, ROH World champion Chris Jericho sang Britt Baker’s praises and said that she still has a future with the company and can’t see her going anywhere else.

Jericho was discussing the recent rumors that Baker has been “exiled” by AEW President Tony Khan for being difficult to work with backstage, although some insiders labeled it as “overblown.”

“She’s one of the OGs, probably one of our first homegrown stars. And I think she does a great job whenever she’s in the ring,” Jericho said. “So I don’t see her leaving or going anywhere. And I’m looking forward to having her come back on the show, because she has a great character and a great presence and, once again, a great fanbase within AEW and within the wrestling world.”

Baker last wrestled for AEW on the November 13 episode of Dynamite, defeating Penelope Ford. She only wrestled five times for the company in 2024 after injuries, suspensions, and all the drama backstage.
