Fenix signs with WWE

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting through his Select service that Rey Fenix has officially signed with WWE.

Fenix was released from his AEW contract earlier this month, a few months after some controversial comments on social media related to his treatment by the company.

The situation between AEW and Fenix took a turn for the worse when his contract was extended last year due to his time injured even though he made it clear that he was not staying with AEW.

He had not been used on AEW television since July 2024.

His brother, Penta, made his WWE debut in January and is now a member of the Raw roster.

WWE aired a teaser for Fenix on last week’s episode of Smackdown.
