Mercedes Mone celebrates one year with AEW

Mercedes Mone celebrated her one-year anniversary with AEW in her latest Mone Mag edition.

Mone, who currently holds a total of four titles across three different promotions, said that it was one of the most transformative years of her career.

“AEW has reignited my fire, passion, and deep-seated love for this sport. It has been a beacon of hope for me, and I am endlessly grateful to AEW and Tony Khan for this opportunity,” Mone wrote.

She said she feels privileged to share the ring with the best women who continue to push her and elevate her game every single day. She also put over the men in the locker room, whose relentless drive keep inspiring her to strive for greatness.

“To my loyal fans who have been with me on this ride, thank you for your unwavering support! And to those new fans ready to jump on the Moné train, welcome aboard! Wrestling is everything to me, and I am honored to be part of such an extraordinary team like AEW,” she continued.

Mone wrapped up the entry by saying that her journey is far from over and she will leave an indelible mark in wrestling history.

“The train won’t stop here, and I promise you, the best is yet to come,” she concluded.

Mone made her AEW debut on March 13, 2024 during the AEW Big Business episode of Dynamite from the TD Garden in Boston.
