Izzy Moreno, known best as the young Bayley super fan during the black and gold NXT era, has gotten an invitation to participate in a WWE ID match and could earn a spot in the WWE ID Women’s Championship tournament if she beats Zara Zakher.
The match has been booked for the April 16 event in Las Vegas promoted by GCW.
“You have a world of potential, Izzy,” posted the WWE ID X account. “However, you have to earn your way into the WWE ID Championship tournament. It’ll be Izzy Moreno vs. #WWEID prospect @zarazakher at @GCWrestling_ presents the ID Tournament on April 16th in Las Vegas! This will be a non-tournament match.”
The soon-to-be 18-year-old has been wrestling for Mission Pro Wrestling since 2023 and turns 18 on May 1 when she could be legally able to sign a deal with any company.
Moreno recently had a friendly exchange with Mercedes Mone, where Mone told her that she was “hyperventilating” and “daddy needed to change your pull ups” after tagging Mone in a post referring to a match when the then Sasha Banks stole her headband on NXT.
“Anytime you want some just tell your Daddy @TonyKhan or whatever Indy promoter and we will see who’s crying…Boss,” Moreno replied.
Mone responded telling her that she ain’t getting her booked and to “stay broke.”
