Eric Young becomes the new TNA World Heavyweight champion

There’s a new TNA World Heavyweight champion in town after yesterday Eric Young defeated Magnus on Impact Wrestling to win his first ever World title.

Young won a battle royal earlier in the show to become the new number one contender and in the main event pinned the champ after delivering a piledriver.

The 34 year old has been employed by TNA since 2004 and has won a fair share of titles during his 10 year career including the X Division title, the Legends/Global/TV title twice, the NWA Tag Team titles twice, the TNA Tag Team titles twice, and the Knockouts Tag Team title once with ODB!
