Abadon returns, goes after AEW Women’s title

Abadon, who was seriously injured last month in a taped match against Tay Conti, returned to AEW last night on Dynamite and set her sights on the AEW Women’s title.

Abadon crawled out towards Hikaru Shida after Shida beat Anna Jay to retain her title, scaring Shida and forcing her to back away, leaving her title behind in the process. Abadon took possession of the title and then licked it with a mouth full of blood.

The self-proclaimed ‘living dead girl’ was transported to a hospital last month after she was on the receiving end of an elbow to the throat by Conti, an injury which made it hard for her to breathe. The match was stopped and abandoned and never aired on Dynamite the week after.
