Adam Cole suffers broken ankle and torn ligaments, to undergo surgery

Adam Cole’s journey in AEW got another setback after he announced that he broke his ankle in three different places last week after he jumped from the stage to come and support MJF.

Cole and MJF were part of an in-ring promo during Dynamite yesterday and Cole wore a cast on his leg and came out on crutches.

Cole said that he also tore his ligaments and will require surgery to repair all the problems. Before he could finish the sentence that they were going to surrender the ROH Tag Team titles, MJF intervened and said that he will defend the titles by himself until he returns.

His girlfriend, Britt Baker, shared the x-ray of his broken ankle and a photo of the bruises on X.

“This guy broke his ankle in 3 places on a freak accident. He still hobbled around on live tv because as we like to say ‘the show must go on,'” she wrote. “@AdamColePro gives his entire heart and soul to pro wrestling. He’s one tough cookie and this is just a small bump in the road. He’ll be back better than ever BAYBAY.”
