Adam Copeland wins the TNT title in Toronto

There’s a new TNT champion in town and his name is Adam Copeland.

The Rated-R Superstar defeated his former tag team partner Christian Cage in an I Quit match in the main event of Dynamite last night in his hometown of Toronto in front of a sold out Coca-Cola Coliseum.

Copeland had some assistance from Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia after the other members of The Patriarchy got involved in the match on Cage’s behalf.

The ending came when Copeland took out a 2×4 which was wrapped in barbed wire and hit a low blow on Cage with it and tried to follow with a shot to the head but Cage said “I quit” before he followed through.

Copeland won the TNT title at Worlds End in December but his title reign was very short-lived after Killswitch came out after the match and Cage took his TNT title match contract which the former Luchasaurus won earlier during the show. Cage pinned Copeland shortly after the match restarted.
