AEW books United Center for CM Punk’s return on new TV show in June

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that CM Punk’s return to All Elite Wrestling will happen on Saturday, June 17 at the United Center in Chicago.

The date will also kick off the new Saturday night television show for AEW, rumored to be titled Collision.

Meltzer said that the building has been booked by AEW and an announcement will be made shortly as soon as everything is finalized between AEW and Punk and AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery on the new show.

Punk made his AEW debut at the United Center in Chicago on Rampage in August 2021 on an episode marketed as The First Dance.

He has not been seen on AEW television since the September 2022 All Out pay-per-view and the subsequent dynamite press conference that resulted in a backstage brawl between himself and The Elite.
