AEW changes plans for women’s title match on Dynamite on January 1

After pushing the AEW Women’s title match between champion Riho and number one contender Kris Statlander for the January 1 episode of Dynamite, AEW today announced that due to prior commitments, Kris Statlander will not be part of the show.

The Japanese champion will still however put her title on the line in a four-way match against Nyla Rose, Britt Baker, and Hikaru Shida, with the winner of this match meeting Statlander on the January 8 episode live from Southaven, Mississippi.

Tickets for the show, taking place at the Landers Center, are still available at Ticketmater.com starting from $22.
