AEW files to trademark the term WrestleDream

All Elite Wrestling has filed an application to trademark the name WrestleDream.

The application – to cover wrestling events and merchandise – was submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office on April 19 by attorney Bradley M. Stohry on behalf of All Elite Wrestling, LLC. No specific logo was included apart from the word ‘AEW WrestleDream’ in regular font for now.

WrestleDream was an event that took place in April 1991 promoted by Super World Sports and the then WWF with several stars from WWF and Japan participating in the show held at the World Hall in Kobe, Hyogo, Japan. Hulk Hogan main evented that show, defending the WWF title against SWS’ Yoshiaki Yatsu.
