AEW World title found by Tallahassee Police Department

The Tallahassee Police Department posted on Facebook that they found Chris Jericho’s AEW title but then deleted the post afterward.

“Chris Jericho we have something that belongs to you. Celebrate with #ALitteBitOfTheBubbly (responsibly of course)! More information to follow,” read the Facebook post along with a photo of an officer posing with the title.

A reporter from the Tallahassee Democrat who covered the story of the theft of the title contacted the Department and a spokesman for TPD said, “It’s been posted to social media? It’s still an open and active investigation. The case has not been closed yet.”

AEW posted on Twitter “case solved” and thanked the Tallahassee Police Department for their work along with a screenshot of the now-deleted post from the TPD Facebook page.

This may all just have been a ruse with Jericho, the Tallahassee Police Department and LongHorn Steakhouse all in on the angle. And the best part of it was the loads of free advertising AEW got in the process!
