Brandi and Cody Rhodes expecting first child

Brandi Rhodes and her husband Cody are expecting their first child, with the announcement coming yesterday during Dynamite.

During the show, the Rhodes family was decorating their Christmas tree and a present was delivered to their front door. The box included baby shoes and an ornament saying that a new arrival is coming in 2021. Their dog, Pharaoh, even sported a bandana that read “baby security!”

For his match on Dynamite against Angelico, Rhodes was introduced by Justin Roberts as “future father.”

Speaking to PEOPLE.com, Brandi said, “Cody and I are so excited and overwhelmed by this news. We’ve had seven exciting years of marriage, worked together to grow our careers and our core at AEW from the ground up, and now here we are embarking on another incredible chapter. We have always talked about it as a future, and it turns out that the future is now.”

The two have been married for seven years.
