Brian Cage departing AEW and ROH at the end of the month

Brian Cage is set to leave AEW and Ring of Honor according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful who is reporting that his last appearance will be the Supercard of Honor show on March 31 during WrestleMania weekend.

Sapp writes that the company was hoping to extend his contract by a few months to cover the time out he was injured but Cage has fought back on that clause and the two sides came to an agreement to work through the next ROH pay-per-view.

Cage was offered an extension to his current deal but the current ROH six-man tag team champion refused the offer and many believe he is on the way to WWE.

The former FTW champion was off TV for months but was brought back over the past couple of weeks when rumors started spreading that Cage was looking to leave the company.
