Bryan Danielson gets his dream match at WrestleDream pay-per-view

A “dream match” has been booked for WrestleDream.

After a few years, Bryan Danielson will get his wish to wrestle Zack Sabre Jr and it will happen in an AEW ring on Sunday, October 1 at the newest AEW pay-per-view.

It was announced last night on Collision that the match was made official and becomes the first one on the card. Danielson vs Sabre Jr was originally scheduled for the first-ever AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door pay-per-view last year but Danielson was injured and could not compete.

Instead it was the debuting Claudio Castagnoli who took on Zack Sabre Jr that night, winning his match after a near 20-minute classic.

This will be the third time that Danielson and Sabre Jr will meet in the ring. Their first match took pace in 2008 and their second a year later, both on the independent scene.
