Bryan Danielson wins the men’s Owen Hart Cup tournament

Bryan Danielson will be getting a shot at the AEW World title, perhaps his last one, at All In next month after he won the Owen Hart Cup tournament last night.

A bloodied Danielson defeated Hangman Page after he was nearly submitted with his own LeBell Lock, but reversed it in a pinfall victory.

Jeff Jarrett, who served as the enforcer for the match, replaced referee Paul Turner towards the end of the bout after Turner was knocked out.

Owen Hart’s widow Dr Martha Hart presented Danielson with the title and the cup following the match.

To reach the final, Danielson went through Shingo Takagi and PAC while Page beat Jeff Jarrett and Jay White.
