Former TNT champion Cody returned on Dynamite last night, attacking The Dark Order as a payback from what happened the last time he was on AEW television.

Six weeks ago, Cody lost the TNT title to Brodie Lee and he was then attacked while he was being stretchered out. His wife Brandi was also taken out. Cody vanished from AEW TV after that and the angle was a way to explain his absence due to the filming of a new TBS show called Go-Big Show, where he serves as one of the judges.

Cody took out John Silver and Alan Angels on Dynamite yesterday after Brodie Lee successfully defended the TNT title against Orange Cassidy. He is now sporting black hair again after years of bleaching it.

Later in the broadcast, Brodie Lee then challenged Cody to a dog collar match. Cody did not reply to the challenge yet.
