Collision’s first show to take place from United Center in Chicago

It took some twists and turns along the way, but AEW Collision’s first episode will indeed take place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

The announcement of the United Center was made last night on Dynamite by AEW President Tony Khan but Khan did not mention CM Punk.

The former two-time AEW champion is confirmed to be on the show and the company would not have used the United Center if he wasn’t going to be there. Punk has not been seen on AEW television since the All Out pay-per-view last September. His AEW debut on Rampage took place in the same arena and was titled The First Dance.

The show will be on June 17 and tickets go on sale tomorrow at AEWTix.com tomorrow.

Punk was removed from the initial Collision announcement last week after some issues between the two parties cropped up, issues that seem to have been resolved now.
