Danielson vs Suzuki set for YouTube Buy-In show this Friday

AEW is giving away a pay-per-view caliber match in the form of Bryan Danielson vs Minoru Suzuki for free on the YouTube portion of this Friday’s live Rampage.

The promotion will produce a one-hour Buy-In show – typically reserved for PPVs – to serve as the lead in for Rampage. The Buy-In show will start at 9PM ET and will run head-to-head with the second hour of Smackdown on FS1. Smackdown will run 30 minutes longer and will be head-to-head with the the first half hour of Rampage.

“In 2004, I wrestled Minoru Suzuki 1 on 1. He beat the sh*t out of me. Showed me what violence and sadism inside a wrestling ring looks like,” Danielson tweeted. “Since then, I’ve learned a thing or two about violence myself. And sadism. Excited to show Mr. Suzuki what I’ve learned.”

AEW President Tony Khan said that he cannot wait to beat Smackdown in the ratings this week. Rampage will have a CM Punk match and also a six-man tag match featuring the in-ring debut of former UFC champion Junior Dos Santos.

Smackdown airs on cable instead of FOX due to MLB pre-emption.
