AEW has announced the dates and locations of its fifth year anniversary broadcast of Dynamite and Title Tuesday, which will once again go head-to-head with NXT.
Dynamite’s fifth-year anniversary show will be held on Wednesday, October 2 live from the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It will be exactly five years to the day of AEW’s debut episode. Tickets for this show will go on sale on August 9 at AEWTix.com.
The Title Tuesday episode will take place a week later, on Tuesday, October 8 live from the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington. Dynamite will be preempted on Wednesday due to the TBS coverage of the MLB playoffs and that puts it in a head-to-head competition with NXT for one night a year only. Tickets for this show also go on sale on August 9.
Last year’s show saw NXT easily beat AEW in head-to-head numbers after WWE loaded up the broadcast with the likes of John Cena, The Undertaker, Paul Heyman, Asuka, and other main roster stars.
