Double or Nothing 2021 set for Sunday, May 30

The Double or Nothing 2021 pay-per-view will be taking place on Sunday, May 30 at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Ever since the 2019 event, Double or Nothing has been held in Las Vegas but with the pandemic still going, the show will remain in Jacksonville.

The date was announced during the Revolution show on Sunday and it’s the first Double or Nothing on a Sunday night during Memorial Day weekend. Revolution was the first AEW pay-per-view on Sunday and the company will be experimenting with both Saturdays and Sundays moving forward.

During an interview with Forbes, AEW President Tony Khan suggested that the two shows that fall on a long weekend, which are Double or Nothing and All Out, would be held on a Sunday while Revolution and Full Gear, which are not tied to a particular weekend, would air on Saturday night if possible. Revolution this year was moved to Sunday to avoid going against other major sports events.
