Double or Nothing 2022 grosses over $1 million in ticket sales in 24 hours

AEW’s Double or Nothing became the first AEW pay-per-view show to cross over the million dollars in gate money within 24 hours.

The big demand for the show was highly expected before tickets went on sale and it was AEW President Tony Khan who delivered the news in a tweet. “Tonight we’re celebrating a milestone because today #DoubleOrNothing 1st day sales just gave us our 1st EVER $1 Million gate,” Khan wrote.

The pre-sale kicked off on Thursday but tickets went on sale to the general public on Friday. The show is not sold out yet as the T-Mobile Arena is quite large but that was the reason that they did not limit themselves to the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

When all is said and done, Double or Nothing will be the highest-grossing AEW show in its short history so far.
