Double or Nothing was a home run for fans…and WWE Superstars!

Judging by the reaction online, it seems that the big majority of fans who watched Double or Nothing were happy with how things went.

You had to look really hard to find complaints about the show from the usual social media and Reddit posts, something that is surely a great sign for everyone involved with AEW.

While the calls of “WWE is dead” are certainly premature and probably far fetched, AEW presented a fantastic top-to-bottom show that provided a great alternative to the PG-rated WWE. The fans inside the area were hot all night and resembled more of an NXT Takeover crowd rather than the usual WWE crowd.

Speaking of WWE, many of its Superstars sent well wishes and openly discussed watching and enjoying the show while writing on Twitter about it. Sasha Banks, Bayley, Naomi, Big E, Matt Hardy, Xavier Woods, and others all talked about Double or Nothing.
