Former WWE Senior writer and producer Jennifer Pepperman, who left WWE after nearly seven years just last week, has jumped ship and joined All Elite Wrestling as the new Vice President of Content Development.
The news was broken by Sports Illustrated who wrote that while in AEW, Pepperman will work with Tony Khan developing content for live programming.
A press release from AEW soon followed which left out Pepperman’s seven-year stint with WWE.
“Adding Jennifer Pepperman’s brilliant mind to the AEW team opens the door for exciting new ideas and will help us build upon the incredible stories currently developing on the road to AEW REVOLUTION across our three weekly shows on TBS and TNT, and the effects of Jennifer’s arrival in AEW will be felt for many years in the future,” said Khan. “We’re thrilled to welcome her today, and I look forward to her creativity and collaboration with our team across the board in what will be AEW’s biggest year yet, and beyond.”
Pepperman was said to be a big friend of Mercedes Mone and her hiring coincides with Mone’s arrival in AEW which is set for next month.
Pepperman is an Emmy Award-winning Executive Producer and Director who has over 20 years of experience in network television. She’s most known for being a director for One Life to Live when it aired on ABC and Director of As The World Turns on CBS.
