Jack Perry makes NJPW debut, tears up AEW contract in the ring

For the first time since AEW’s All In at Wembley Stadium, Jack Perry showed up on television at the NJPW Battle In The Valley and attacked Shota Umino.

Perry was wearing a mask standing at ringside and when Umino went around to greet fans, he jumped him. Perry then threw Umino back in the ring and hit a running knee, taking him out. Standing in the middle of the ring, Perry took out what looked like an AEW contract and tore it apart and put on an armband which had SCAPEGOAT written on it.

Perry’s near five-month absence came after his altercation with CM Punk backstage at Wembley which resulted in Punk getting fired. He was also suspended indefinitely by the company for his role in the fight.
