Jake “The Snake” Roberts signs new, two-year deal with AEW

Jake “The Snake” Roberts revealed that he recently signed a new, two-year contract with All Elite Wrestling.

In an interview with his friend Diamond Dallas Page, Roberts said that a few weeks ago he alerted Tony Khan that he only had four weeks left on his deal and he needed to know what he wants him to do so he can plan for the future.

Khan told Jake that they need to sign “a piece of paper” again and when his contract was delivered, he was surprised that it wasn’t for a year, but for two.

“He’s such a wonderful man and he gave me my love for wrestling back,” Jake said, adding that it’s been great for him to be part of AEW. Jake also said that it’s a pleasure for him to lend a helping hand to those in the company who for whatever reason are struggling.

The WWE Hall of Famer has been working for AEW since March 2020 and has managed Lance Archer during his entire time.
