Japanese bracket of AEW Women’s Title Eliminator tournament results

The first round of the Japanese side of the bracket of the AEW Women’s Title Eliminator tournament aired yesterday on the AEW YouTube account.

The show was taped from the Ice Ribbon Dojo in Saitama, Japan and Dynamite commentator Excalibur did voice-over commentary for the broadcast. AEW Women’s champion Hikaru Shida, who traveled to Japan for this, helped produce the show on the ground.

In the matches, Yuka Sakazaki defeated Mei Suruga, Emi Sakura defeated Veny, Ryo Mizunami defeated Maki Itoh, and Aja Kong defeated Rin Kadokura. The next round will now feature Emi Sakura vs. Yuka Sakazaki and Aja Kong vs. Ryo Mizunami.
