Jericho blames “NXT reject” for recent leaks from Dynamite tapings

During his weekly Saturday Night Special YouTube chat with fans, former AEW World champion Chris Jericho addressed the recent leaks that have been popping up about taped Dynamite shows even though they are behind a closed set.

While the supposed leaks from this week’s show are thought to be false and not accurate, Jericho addressed the leaker, saying that the company found out who leaked the results last time, spoiling Eric Bischoff’s appearance.

Jericho said that it was an “NXT reject” who was the “spy” and that person would never work for AEW again.

“When we had the debate and Eric Bischoff was announced on Reddit…and we know the spy is, by the way. Oh…we know! He’ll never fu*king be back in AEW. An NXT reject was a spy, so print that,” Jericho said.

The Demo God added that while they discussed how to move forward with the Bischoff news, it was decided not to announce it because those who didn’t know about it would still be surprised. “That’s exactly what happened. People were super surprised that Bischoff was there and it worked out great.”

Several former NXT stars have worked for AEW lately and with no hints on who it might have been, it is pretty difficult to even guess who the leaker was.

One of the big supposed rumors for this week, which was shot down as fake by Cody, was that the man formerly known as Erick Rowan made his debut and helped Brodie Lee win the TNT title. Responding to the rumor, Cody said that if AEW booked anything which was that stupid, he’d quit the wrestling business forever.
