Jon Moxley beats CM Punk in a couple of minutes to become undisputed AEW World champion

The AEW World title unification match was over in around two minutes – yes, you read that right – matching the just week-long promotion for what should have been AEW’s biggest match in Dynamite history.

After the match started, CM Punk threw a high kick but injured his foot. Punk dropped and screamed in agony, allowing Moxley to take advantage.

A Death Rider later and a new undisputed champion was crowned. The asterisk next to Moxley’s interim title win can now be removed and the champ is now truly a two-time AEW World champion.

Punk was then helped by medical personnel to the back as Moxley celebrated his win with the crowd.
