Kenny Omega says he’s out of action “indefinitely”

It looks like Kenny Omega is back on the shelf as the former AEW champion posted a message on social media saying that he is out indefinitely.

Omega shared a photo from a hospital bed writing, “I can’t really sugar coat this. I’m out indefinitely. I tried to keep pushing past the pain for as long as I could until it became too much.”

He did not specify what kind of injury it is but said that luckily, doctors caught it when they did.

“I’ll be here so in the mean time, please enjoy wrestling,” Omega wrote.

He is supposed to team up with Chris Jericho to take on Big Bill and Ricky Starks at the Worlds End pay-per-view for the AEW Tag Team titles but that seems out of the window now. AEW did not make any announcement regarding the match nor did they address Omega’s injury.

Omega last wrestled Ethan Page on Collision from Montreal on December 5 and the match aired on television on December 9.
