Khan family interested in purchasing Bellator MMA

Ariel Helwani revealed on the MMA Hour this week that Tony Khan and his father Shad are one of the interested parties in purchasing Bellator MMA from Paramount.

Acknowledging that it’s not clear yet how deep in conversations the Khan family were with Paramount, the purchase of Bellator would be the fourth different sporting venture for the family, with them already owning the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL, Fulham FC of the English Premier League, and All Elite Wrestling.

The Professional Fighters League remain the favorite to take over Bellator MMA. Paramount Global purchased Bellator MMA a few years ago.
