Mercedes Mone added to NJPW Capitol Collision event in Washington

Mercedes Mone will be wrestling at the NJPW Capitol Collision event on August 30.

The event, set to take place from the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC, will see Mone defend her NJPW Strong Women’s title against an opponent yet to be named.

Mone has not wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling since May 2023 and her match against Willow Nightingale where she broke her foot.

She won the NJPW Strong Women’s title from Stephanie Vaquer at the recent Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June.
