MJF and Adam Cole make their return at WrestleDream

MJF and Adam Cole made their return at WrestleDream last night, reigniting the feud they had which was halted after Cole suffered a broken ankle.

MJF returned first to attack Daniel Garcia, who came out after the TNT title match to confront champion Jack Perry. The former champion had been out since the All Out pay-per-view in September when Garcia delivered a second rope piledriver.

Garcia, who was down after Perry whacked him, was going to get knocked out by the Dynamite Diamond Ring which MJF found again, but before MJF could strike, Adam Cole’s theme music hit. Cole ran down the ring but MJF escaped through the crowd. He then helped Garcia up.

Cole suffered the ankle injury in September of last year and continued to show up on television and was eventually revealed as the Devil and fronted the Undisputed Kingdom faction. Cole and MJF had been tag team partners until the Devil unmasking angle.
