Moxley vs Omega fails to crack 1 million viewers on Dynamite

The AEW Dynamite main event between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega for the AEW World title failed to crack the 1 million viewers during the final two quarters of the show, something which has to be seen as a surprise considering it was being built as the biggest match in Dynamite history.

The match did come close though, with 952,000 viewers tuning in the seventh quarter but then losing 7,000 viewers, down to 945,000 viewers from the eighth and final quarter according to data released by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

NXT’s main event in the eighth quarter with the women’s ladder match did 689,000 viewers as competition and increased by 112,000 viewers from the seventh quarter.

The segment where it led to Sting’s arrival did a very good number of 942,000 viewers.
